I don't know about you, but taking lots of photos isn't the problem, it's what to do with them after you take them. Digital photography has made it a little easier, although lots of photos just stay on my camera forever. BUT, I have boxes and boxes of printed photos from when my kids were young that I always swear I am going to get to. And I worry if i don't get to them soon, they will be lost. Valentine's Day Fun!

Over dinner the other night i was chatting with some friends who said they never got around to sending out holiday cards and they wre bummed--so I suggested they do Photo Valentine's Day cards. I shared with them a few favorites I have come across and they did not know there were so many options. SOOO, I thought I would share them with you all as well. I found cute ones on ThreeSixtyFivecards.com, Minted.com and TinyPrints.com. They all have a good variety--some photo cards to get that latest shot of the kids out to family and friends or more simple cards for classroom exchanges for the kids--so much cuter than the generic tear apart ones from the grocery store. I just wish my kids were still young enough to do valentine exchanges--doesn't happen in middle school and high school. I know everyone is trying to save these days but sometimes its fun just to splurge...check them out.

Wow, it's January 6th already...hard to believe how fast it all goes. The decorations have all come down and presents are already put away in their new homes, but let's not forget to say Thank You to those that remembered us this holiday. I think it is especially important for kids to learn now to say Thank You! And teaching them the art of writing Thank You notes can be a great life long skill. And it can be fun too. The folks over at Minted were nice enough to send me some samples and they are BEAUTIFUL. The paper is nice thick quality paper and the printing was bright and clear. Boy, it sure seems like the time went faster than ever this year. It was starting to look like I was not even going to get Christmas cards out this year but luckily with the internet, anything is possible. Shopping for the perfect Christmas gift can be a challenge, especially for me because I like my gift to be the one the kids remember.
